Bayview
Bayview is an indigenous Cynodon species, originally found in the Cape region. It tends to dominate all other Cynodon species if the turf is poorly managed. Bayview spreads at a tremendous rate and possesses highly fertile seeds, which have an ability to remain dormant in the soil for long periods of time.
Bayview has a very fine leaf, which is the reason why it is favoured by many turf managers for sports fields; especially cricket pitches
